What gets recorded here.
Six formats run in The Hive, the recording room at Kreate Vision Studio in Palatine, Illinois: solo, interview, roundtable, live stream, course recording and content days. Each one below says how many people it fits, which booking it uses, and where the price starts. Named client work is not listed here until a client clears it.
Rates in full on the pricing page: podcast recording is $250 an hour with a 90-minute minimum, content sessions are $300 an hour with a two-hour minimum, and longer blocks discount. Editing, captions, clips and distribution sit on the services page and are quoted separately, so the hourly rate stays the hourly rate. Recording something the room does not do yet? Picking a format.
How many people can record at once?
The table seats four, which is a host plus three guests, and the room takes five people in total including anyone not on camera. That is the physical ceiling of The Hive, not a recommendation.
Which format should I book for a course or training?
Book a Content Session rather than podcast recording. Course days are setups and resets rather than one continuous conversation, and the Content Session includes an operator. It starts at $600 for two hours, which is the minimum booking.
Can you live stream a session?
Yes. Live streaming setup is an add-on on top of studio time rather than part of the $250 hourly rate, so mention it when you book and the room is configured before your call time.
Do you have public client credits I can look at?
Not on this page. The formats listed here describe what the room runs, not a client list. Named work goes up when a client clears it, and until then this page does not imply otherwise. If you want to talk to somebody who has recorded here, ask and we will arrange it.
Working out which one
